Windy Rhodes GP whips up the race for TNN development team
Development Team General Manager Daniel Holt:
“There were winds of 35-50kph today, with the potential for strong crosswinds after the principal 12km climb that came only 40km into the race. The goal was for our guys to stay at the front as much as possible to find a good position for both the climb and the finale.”
“Doriand rode well today and he managed to stay in the main group through the crosswinds together with Antonio, who showed good positioning skills but they dropped off towards the end. Sacha also rode consistently despite a mechanical issue and today was a valuable one in terms of experience.”
