TNN Development season opening at Umag Trophy in Croatia
Sergey Lagutin, Development Team Head Coach:
“We are so excited and motivated to go to this race every year. Louis Evans, Sacha Bietry and Jacopo Colladon tried to be in an early breakaway, but unfortunately it didn’t work out.
The breakaway left after 85 km consisting of 3 riders with the maximum advantage of 45 seconds. Celestin Wattelle and Nigel De Sota were set as our sprinters today. Even though Celestin got a flat tire at 50 km to go, he managed to finish in the top 30 thanks to his great bike skills and the help of his teammate Justin McQuerry.”
Celestin Wattelle (FRA):
“I was very excited to start my first pro season in Croatia. The feelings were good and the team did a good job. I’m very happy to end it with a top 30!”
