Team Novo Nordisk, the world’s first all-diabetes men’s professional cycling team, will be one of 16 teams competing in this year’s Amgen Tour of California (May 11-18, 2014).
Co-founder and CEO of Team Novo Nordisk, Phil Southerland responded: “Since the creation of Team Novo Nordisk, competing at the Amgen Tour of California has remained a top priority for our team. This premier U.S. event is an important platform for our team to reach millions of Americans and share our message of inspiration and empowerment with people affected by diabetes.”

The men’s professional cycling team includes all-diabetes professional riders from 10 different countries and is at the forefront of Team Novo Nordisk, a global all-diabetes sports team of cyclists, triathletes and runners. The team’s mission is to inspire, educate and empower people affected by diabetes.
