Team Novo Nordisk raised the curtain on the 2019 season with two strong performances in marquee races abroad: the UAE Tour and Tour du Rwanda.
In the inaugural edition of UAE Tour, the team’s maiden World Tour race this year, Frenchman Charles Planet was in the competition for the Intermediate Sprint Jersey from start to finish and wore the jersey for four consecutive days. In our return to the Tour du Rwanda, a race that has a special place in our heart, Spaniard David Lozano put up a great fight and sealed a sixth place in the overall classification.
