Strong Team Effort on a Hot Stage 2 of the Czech Tour

15 August 2025

Stage 2 of the Czech Tour took the riders from Pardubice to Dlouhé Stráně, spanning approximately 173 km and featuring a tough finish atop a long climb, making for a challenging day in the saddle.

An early breakaway set the tone, and our riders stayed in the peloton, focusing on discipline and pacing. Hamish Armitt was the first of our team to cross the line, ending the day in 28th place.

“Today was pretty hot all day, and the team did a great job with positioning and getting bottles throughout the whole stage. We worked really well together. On the last climb, I managed to stay with the main bunch until the last 5 km, but I really struggled with the heat and couldn’t get on top of it. Overall, though, it was still a good experience. The whole team is working really well together, and hopefully over the next two days we can show ourselves even more,” Hamish said.

Like Stage 1, this race continues to be a valuable learning platform for our development riders. With two stages remaining, the team will take today’s lessons forward, aiming to keep building strength and teamwork.
