Final European races of the season for TNN at Binche and Vendee
06 October 2025
Team Novo Nordisk head into the final European races of 2025 this week with Binche-Chimay-Binche up first in Belgium before making the short trip over the border to France for the Tour de Vendee on Saturday.
The world’s first and only all diabetes pro cycling team has enjoyed a successful season and the aims to end on a high note both in Europe and Asia at the Tour of Taihu Lake and the Utsunomiya Japan Cup next week.
Local Belgian rider Quinten De Graeve and French neo pros Anton Muller and Celestin Wattelle will close out their seasons on home turf in Binche and Vendee and will be in support of 20-year-old Italian Alessandro Perracchione and Kiwi Hamish Beadle with Australian Bailey McDonald completing the lineup.
“This is it, our last two European races of the season and the last opportunity for our local riders to show themselves on home roads this year,” said General Manager Vassili Davidenko. “Binche-Chimay-Binche and Tour de Vendee are both hard races against top teams who are also hungry to end their seasons strongly and we want to be visible in the break and go as deep into each race as possible.”
“It’s going to be great to see so many friendly faces and supporters from our title sponsor Novo Nordisk in Belgium. We always receive a fantastic reception there and we’re proud to be involved in more activation with the diabetes community this week. Let’s make them proud!“
The 37th edition of Binche-Chimay-Binche is the first goal and historically goes as far back as 1911, a broken history of name changes, route changes and sponsor changes before finally making its way back as a fixture on the late season calendar. 200 kilometers of classic Belgian racing that culminates in hilly closing circuits around Binche, the group will be whittled down well before the line. Expect and exciting finale.
On Saturday the 52nd Tour de Vendee, part of the legendary Coupe de France will test the field with the traditional and punishing circuit around La Roche-sur-Yon making the most of the technical, undulating terrain that characterizes this challenging one day race.
