PROFILE

After a period of rapid weight loss and difficulty seeing, Anton Muller was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 23. He was skeptical at first about whether he could keep cycling even in his free time. He adapted quickly, and with continuous glucose monitoring he was back on the bike within two weeks.

In 2023 he attended a Team Novo Nordisk talent ID camp and impressed enough to earn a place on the development team for the following season. A strong debut year with the development squad brought a call-up to the professional roster, and he rode as a stagiaire alongside his new teammates that autumn at the Tour of Taihu Lake and the Japan Cup.

He joined the professional team full-time for 2025 and spent the season making debuts in the biggest races on its calendar, among them the Baloise Belgium Tour and the Tour of Denmark. A rouleur with a fast finish, he returns in 2026 for his second season at that level.

Away from racing, Muller holds a degree in engineering and hikes in the mountains with friends.
