Good Day Out at Stage 2 of Tour of Rhodes for TNN Development Team

The second stage of the Tour of Rhodes featured a challenging 159km route with 2292 meters of climbing, making it a tough, but good day for Team Novo Nordisk Development Team.

Development Team General Manager Daniel Holt:

“Last year, this stage blew the race apart. I told the guys to try for an early break, but not to go too hard. Then, they should hide and survive the best they can. Hopefully, everyone would be together and could do a leadout for Anton (Muller) and Jacopo (Colladon) in the final 1.5km uphill finish.”

“The leader’s team controlled the race all day, making it much easier than it could have been. We had four riders, Anton (Muller), Jacopo (Colladon), Louis-Marie (Posnic) and Celestin (Wattelle), with the main bunch at the finish, but they lost positions going into the final turn. Not a bad day overall.”
