“On paper, this course didn’t look too hard, so I told the guys to be aggressive and hopefully take the single KOM sprint 45km into the race. After that, they should prepare for a bunch sprint.
Early in the race, several gaps opened, and it was a very challenging first hour of racing.
Nathan had a great day, making the splits and even sprinting to a top 15 finish in the bunch sprint.”
