Joe Martin Race – Stage 2

Development Team General Manager Daniel Holt:

“The stage looked quite challenging with several climbs, and there was also an expectation of cold rain. I told everyone to ride as a team at the front today and conserve their energy for the climbs, particularly the finishing climb. As always, if it’s easy to join the breakaway within the first 10km of the race, they shouldn’t hesitate to do so. I’m very pleased with all of the guys for completing the stage.

Nathan, once again, had a great ride. His performance on the finishing climb was very impressive.

Josh rode well as well. He managed to reach the front and make attempts at joining breakaways. In the end, he played a crucial role in positioning Nathan for the final climb. It’s great to see such performance from a 19-year-old.“
