Team Novo Nordisk Set for 2025 Tour of Shanghai

02 September 2025

The 2025 Tour of Shanghai is ready to light up the roads of China from September 5–7, with 120 riders competing across three action-packed stages.

Launched in 2024, the race has quickly grown in prestige and will now be contested under official UCI status. Team Novo Nordisk will be fielding a competitive lineup and looks forward to maintaining great performances from Denmark and France in recent weeks.

Hamish Beadle has seen his season kick off later than usual after injury disrupted his start but he has proven to be fully fit in recent weeks. Sam Brand’s experience will guide a relatively young squad. 20-year-old Alessandro Perracchione and 22-year-old Célestin Wattelle have already proven they have what it takes to mix it up in the pro ranks. Quinten De Graeve has experience in racing in China with Team Novo Nordisk and will know what to expect. Jacopo Colladon rounds out the line up.

“It is always great to participate in a new race,” said General Manager Vassili Davidenko. “We’re honored to be taking part in the inaugural Tour of Shanghai and very much looking forward to being back racing in China.

After our recent positive performances in both Denmark and France, it’s important for us to maintain the momentum and stay focused on the task at hand. With three days of racing in Shanghai, that’s three opportunities to show ourselves and make a strong impression.”
