PROFILE
French first year professional Louis-Marie Posnic steps up to the Team Novo Nordisk senior pro team after two years with the Development team. A breakthrough season in 2025 saw the 22-year-old perform consistently well with standout results coming at the Tour of Hellas and Tour of the Gila.
Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was three years old, turning pro is the realization of a lifelong dream for Posnic who met legendary TNN riders Charles Planet and David Lozano in France back in 2014 and made it his goal to join Team Novo Nordisk.
Ten years later, after attending the 2023 Talent ID camp Louis-Marie was selected for the TNN Development team and never looked back.
A self described ‘Rouleur’ the Cholet born Posnic grew up on the family farm with a younger sister and describes farming as his second passion. Getting into cycling as a youngster thanks to his father and grandfather, Posnic has a strong bond with the sport and with the land and has lived with diabetes for so long that he cannot remember a time without it.
