Team Novo Nordisk lines up a mixed team for the Czech Tour

While one team is racing at PostNord Danmark Rundt, Team Novo Nordisk will also be in action further south, as a second lineup takes on the Czech Tour. Four stages across the beautiful terrain of the Czech Republic await, from the historic streets of Prague to the iconic climbs of Dlouhé stráně and Pustevny.

Team Novo Nordisk heads into the event with a mixed lineup, combining the experience of the pro riders with the ambition of the development team.

“The Czech Tour is always a beautiful race and provides us with a fantastic opportunity to give a chance to our young up-and-coming riders,” said General Manager Vassili Davidenko. “This year, we’re taking the opportunity to send a mixed team of our pro and development riders, and it’s up to them to make the most of the chance to race at this level and impress.”

“Our four pro riders have the responsibility to lead here and set a good example to our development riders. I expect them to step up and perform. We will also have a great collaboration with the Czech affiliate of Novo Nordisk, and we want to leave everyone with a positive impression of the team.”

Hamish Armitt, Hamish Beadle, Sam Brand, and Quinten de Graeve will provide leadership on the road, setting the tone and guiding the team through the challenges ahead. Development team riders Lucas Terrier, Louis-Marie Posnic, and Juan Jose Lopez will be looking to learn, adapt, and show their potential.

“It’s a big step for me to be here,” said Louis-Marie Posnic. “I want to learn as much as I can from the pro guys, but also show that I can contribute to the team. Every stage is a chance to grow.”
