13 April 2026
Team Novo Nordisk is set to take on the demanding five-stage Tour of Hainan, a key fixture in their 2026 season calendar. The race, renowned for its challenging terrain and competitive field, offers the team multiple opportunities to showcase their strength and cohesion.
“The Tour of Hainan is always an exciting and challenging race,” said General Manager Vassili Davidenko. “One that forms an important part of our season and the 2026 edition will be no different. Five stages means five opportunities for us to show what we can do. David will provide strong leadership and experience, and our young riders need to learn from these Asian races and learn quickly. It’s a very competitive race.”
The team arrives in strong form following encouraging performances from their French racing block, aiming to build on that momentum. David Lozano joins the squad fresh off the Région Pays de La Loire
Tour, bringing valuable leadership and experience gained from that race.
Alongside Lozano, Frenchmen Lucas Dauge, Célestin Wattelle, and Lucas Terrier bring a blend of youthful energy and growing experience, eager to make their mark on the challenging stages ahead. Belgian rider Quinten De Graeve and Australian Bailey McDonald add depth and round out the squad.“It will be important to race together to give ourselves the best chance of success,” Davidenko added.
